Do you know what day it is? Of course you do. It’s MOJO Monday. Life is good and meant to be enjoyed so today, I want to lighten up a little bit. In the quest for our purpose and success, we (I) can seem to be really serious.

Not that discovering our purpose and our journey to success are not serious, they are. But how we act and react to things as they come up does not always have to be serious.

Today, I want to share some of my favorite motivational quotes…with a side of humor. Here we go…

Motivation is something that comes from within you. Yes, you can get inspired by something or someone outside of you, but the pure motivation comes from within. It’s funny that some folks believe that you don’t ever have to refuel. They give up instead. Don’t let that be you!

Do. The. Work. You’ve heard me say that, right? There is a reason. Once you determine your journey and you are ready to get going, you can’t just stop on the ramp…or in the middle of the highway. Movement. Forward motion. That’s what gets you there. Adjust if you must, but keep moving.
Consider the postage stamp; its usefulness consists in the ability to stick to one thing ’til it gets there.

Staying motivated can be challenging. For me, taking myself and my life too serious is often what gets me down. Finding a way to incorporate other things that we enjoy into our routine can prove to be the fuel that keeps you going…and happy. When you know the work is yours to do, you find a way.
