Did you know that there are only two days in the year when absolutely nothing can be done?
Don’t get all excited and think that you are getting a break and two days off! You can’t do ANYTHING on those two days. Nope, I am not crazy.
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.” – Dalai Lama
Be in the moment. Live today. How many times have you heard those statements? If you are anything like me, you have heard them many, many times.
Why do I bring this up? I don’t know about you, but I know several folks who spend a tremendous amount of their time and energy fretting about what they should have done yesterday. They are so caught up in what should have, could have, or might have been, that they cannot see they’re are going right back down the same path today. Why? Because they are not focused on now. They are not living in the moment.
And there are just as many people who worry about what will happen tomorrow. What will they do? How will they do it? You cannot DO anything yesterday OR tomorrow. You can only take action today. Yes, I am playing with words a little bit here but I want you to get the point.
Live today. Show up. Be present. Take the leading role in your life. You are the only one who can play it.
