Have you watched a “scope” yet? By scope, I mean a Periscope broadcast. I have to say that I find it fascinating and can watch, watch, and watch some more if I don’t pay attention to the time. Ok, enough about one of my ‘not so good’ habits.
I was watching a ‘scope recently and the speaker mentioned a series that she was listening to that piqued my interest. It seems that she mentioned it was by Bob Proctor. Now, I don’t know all of the context of the program, or even the name of it, but the part she mentioned that resonated with me was, “do something you have never done before.”
Doing something you have never done before can be simple, yet challenging. What do you think? Is it easy to do things for the first time? Some folks get a huge rush from it. I can’t say that I am excited every time I do something new. Now after I have done it, that’s a different story.
Ok, on to the purpose of why we are here..
Welcome to the MOJO Monday Series. I am thrilled that you are here and I believe you will find some tips and new ideas that you can implement in your life or in your business…or both. Please take a few minutes and watch this backyard video and then we will talk more about a challenge I have for you.
When you keep getting the same results from your actions – and they are the results you want – it’s a good thing. But…when you want better, bigger, or just different results, you have to do one of two things.
Do what you’ve been doing, but with a tweak or shift
Do something totally different – even if you have never done it before.
Do something you have never done before.
- If you need help, reach out.
- If you need encouragement, reach out.
- If you need inspiration, reach inside.
- Dream big.
- Believe in yourself.
- Do the work.
